I am a general health psychologist and integrative therapist specialized in family and child-adolescent intervention.
I studied Psychology at the University of Barcelona, motivated to learn more about human behavior and fascinated by interpersonal relationships, how they affect us, and how they shape us.
My work experience began in the context of social intervention, working for years in the third sector supporting families, women, and children in situations of abuse and neglect.
Working in diverse environments brought me closer to the resilience approach, helped me adopt a more critical stance towards emotional well-being, but above all, it helped me develop a much more compassionate and non-judgmental outlook. Working with children in adverse situations led me to put on the trauma glasses, to professionally review myself to find a therapeutic style with which I felt comfortable and in line with my values.
Today, I work from an integrative approach, which means that I have trained in different approaches to understand distress comprehensively, and the work plan adapts to you, not the other way around. Thus, I am trained in constructivist therapy, humanistic therapy, systemic family therapy, attachment theory, and trauma perspective. I also incorporate play as a therapeutic element during sessions with children and adolescents.
For me, the therapeutic space is a place of unconditional acceptance of the child, where they can reconcile with who they are while being accompanied along with their family to activate their personal resources.
As soon as we can, we will get in touch with you to give you the support you need.
